The Mason County District Library
The purpose behind all the children’s story times, craft programs and events at the library is children’s literacy. Encouraging children to read, to make reading fun and enjoyable is at the heart of all our activities. To get children into the library, and to engage their minds, their hands and most importantly, their curiosity, is the reason for story time, craft programs and all the special events. Studies have shown that children who are encouraged to read for pleasure, and make reading a habit, are more successful in school. Link to schedule and information.
